 - The right contract is not the Slam! West must apply the Adjustment for the "bad" Void in DI and East for the Trump Misfit, which would lower the max Play Level (PL) to 4.5 and to stop the Bidding with the Signoff bid of 4HE instead to ask for Control Points (CP), but in the real play a desparate attempt for the 1st place forced West to overbid. North attacked with Ace of DI. Any other attack and the Slam will be doomed ! This shows again that the game of  bridge is pure chance !

               Force Point counts directly the contract tricks (we call them player's Base Number, B#), but here is one Fp Counting for players who prefer to use the classical HCP:
Singleton Ace = 7 HCP
Ace = 4 HCP
King = 3 HCP
Queen = 2 HCP
Jack = 1 HCP
Void = Any Singleton (except the Ace) = 2 HCP
For up to 4 card suit sequences of AK or KQ add 2 HCP, but  for AKQ  or  AKQJ  add  respectively 3 HCP and 4 HCP
For 6+/5+ bi-color add 2 HCP
For any 5+ card suit with 2 TOP Honors add: N - 4 HCP, where N is the number of the cards in the suit

Your B# (the contract tricks) = (T - 5)/4, where T are your total  HCP
The game's Play Level (PL) = sum of both partners B#s

   Almost no Adjustments are necessary with this Fp Counting which is very important for systems that are not able to discover the exact player's distribution, although some players try to consider some of them whenever they can and discover the Slams which most of the players can not sense:
1. For a Trump Super Fit of  9 cards in both hands, or for a "good" Singleton or for a Misfit or FIT with the 2 Controls upgrade your B# (respectively your PL) with 0.5 contract tricks.
2. For a Trump Super Fit of 10+ cards in both hands, for a "good" Void or for a 2nd FIT with the 3 TOP Honors upgrade your B# (respectively your PL) with 1.0 contract tricks.
   Also, it is very important to know when to approximate your T - 5 result UP or DOWN by 1 HCP when it shows an odd number. Go UP with balanced hands (no 6+ card suit, no pseudo suits), but go DOWN with unbalanced hands !

   Simply find a way to exchange your B# and the FIT suit with your partner and you rerely will miss a proper contract. Fp invented and uses SCOR-SCOR Convention to discover the exact partner's distribution, but if you are familiar with CRASH Convention (it is not exactly the usual CRASH Convention when used for discovering the exact partner's distribution, it looks more like Michaels), you may use it instead, applying the Fp inventions for the long 6+ card suits making it CRASH-CRASH Convention.

SCOR-SCOR and CRASH-CRASH Conventions

   The SCOR-SCOR (respectively CRASH-CRASH) Convention which ForcePoint uses is one of the main weapons. Some players call it fascinating, some call it revolutionary. The 1st part of it is nothing new, but the 2nd part is an innovation.

   What SCOR-SCOR means?

- "S" stands for the SHAPE (every other) side suit excluding the longest Basic suit. The SHAPE suits are always every other suits or rounded suits surrounding the longest Basic suit.
- "CO" stands for the COLOR (red or black) side suit excluding the longest Basic suit
- "R" stand for the RANK (Major or Minor) side suit excluding the longest Basic suit

   Suppose you are the Opener. After the Semi-Forcing Relay by the Quest your first 3 steps answers will confirm that your Basic suit is a 5 or 7 or 8 card suit, but never a 6 card suit.
The next steps answer confirm that your Basic suit is always a 6 card suit. The 4th, the 5th and the 6th step will show again "S", "CO" and "R" side suits, but the 6th step also will show that you had a Void. When you are strong with RANK side suits, you MUST bid your 2nd longest suit naturally using a step over the 6th step if you do not have a Void! So the 6th step is irrelevant with your exact shape, and on practice you must use up to the 10th step to show your exact shape immediately (the bid in NT usually shows DI or HE suit). If opponents interfere you will use the bid of Pass and DBL for the 1st two steps to save space. From 7th step and above you are in Extended SCOR and MUST bid your 2nd longest suit naturally (sorry for the repeating, but that is the most important thing of the Extended SCOR).

    When you learn the Convention for discovering the exact partner's shape, you will know over 75% of the Fp system !

    That's maybe the only difficult part of the system. By my experience, the World Class players sensed it for a half hour, the Experts learn it for an hour, the casual players spend 2 hours. Unfortunately, I know only 2 women who learned it. Most of the women either do not have logic thinking and prefer to depart from the system or become nervous when they have to visualize the partner's exact shape.

   What CRASH-CRASH means?

- "C" stands for the COLOR (red or black) side suit excluding the longest Basic suit
- "R" stand for the RANK (Major or Minor) side suit excluding the longest Basic suit

Fp Slam Bidding

Count the Ace = Void = 6 Control Points (CP), the King = Singleton = 4 CP
   If your partner ask you for Controls (we call them Control Points, CP) by using the bids 4CL (even not after NT bid by you) or 4NT,  it will be very easy to show all of them on a step answer by 2 CP for every step after subtracting certain number of your CP in conjunction with your distribution (with Fp your partner will know it, but with other system probably s/he won't).
   Subtract CP = 4*B# when your partner does not know your exact distribution or when you do not have long suit(s), but subtract CP = 4*B# - 2 if you have 7+ card suit or 6+/5+ bi-color.
   When your partner discovers a total of 32 to 36 CP (30 CP if 2 good FITs) with a PL >= 6, s/he will go to a Small Slam, when s/he discovers 40 CP (36 if 2 good FITs) and a PL >= 7, s/he will be excited to bid a Grand Slam. With PL >= 6.5 you may not ask for Controls at all, your Small Slam is on the table!
   With Fp your partner will know your exact distribution (shape), so you will need to show only your real CP, the partner will add the pseudo CP value for the Singletons and Voids if they are not duplicated with the real CP. With any other system you may know your partner pseudo suits (using cu-bid if the opponents interfere) or you may not know them, and your partner may not be able to discover the exact number of the total CP.
   For a Grand Slam you may need to know the suits of your partner's TOP Honors. It is easy to discover them in one or two rounds using SCOR or CRASH. The answers are by priority, first your partner will show to you the 2 of a kind: the Kings' suits (if any), or the Queens' suits (if any), or the mixed Control suits (if any). With 3 Kings or 3 Queens show the omit suit. Fp never asks for Aces' suits except when there is no Kings showed or when one of the players is strong with a long suit and a Void. Be aware that Fp does not use Relays on 6th level, all bids there are Absolute Signoff, so you may not have enough space to discover the TOP Honors suits, especially if you apply the bids 3NT, 4HE and 4SP for Absolute Signoff when used by the Quest.
